Practical Tips for Winning on the TripleClicks Pricebender Auction

Participating in the Pricebender Auction is fun and an awesome way to get new branded products like iPad, laptops, cameras and many other electronics for cheap (typically 90% off!). I have a great collection of products I've won and the great news is that you'll be shipped down to you from US for free! If you'll want pariticipate, just go tohttp://percent.auctions3c.com/ to register for FREE, then come back here to drop your email as a comment below and I'll mail you a $12 Gift Card to get you started!

Bidding in the PB is a must for all serious SFI affiliates!  It offers you a great opportunity to win great products for cheap and some valuable business building tools like PSAs, CSAs, Gift Cards, S-Builder, IAHBE membership etc.

It is also a great source of action VP as you get 1 VP for each bid you place. You also receive 5 MRP for each bid [10 MRP for Double MRP (DP) auctions!] MRPs can be redeemed on tens of thousands of different TripleClicks products and services and music downloads (see some special MRP products here:https://www.tripleclicks.com/member_rewards.php). So in participating in Pricebender Auction, you always win in VPs and MRPs even if you don't get to win the auction.

Here are some great tips that can help you:

1. There are different kinds of auctions (see the bottom part of the Auction Center:http://www.tripleclicks.com/indexAuctions.php). If you haven't won any auctions, start with the 1WA (1st Winner Auction) where you'll be competing with novices like yourself. Then when you win the first one, move to and only do Jr (Junior) Auctions until you're no longer eligible for that. The Junior auction is for amatuers who have won less than 10 auctions.

2. Always start by checking the Latest winners (https://www.tripleclicks.com/PBlatestWinners.php) and avoiding those who have just won Tcredits.

3. Take note of the BIG time bidders and DON'T bid against them! They never give up and you'll lose all your Tcredits. How do you know them? Study the list of Winners and look at the top VP Leaders in SFI. They are the ones with the highest VP (https://www.sfimg.com/Leaders/PowerRank) and those who win auctions very cheap (because people are scared on bidding against them!). Some of them are: Bing O, Wayne T, Stefan A, Rashid S, Elvis A, Babu M, Joseph M, Joesph N, Daisy S, Ruth O, Omar F, Larry M, Beverly W, Joe R, Sidi Z, Dauoda I, Zakiya P. Oluwasegun O. etc. The list is a very long one. Follow the list above and watch out for the top 50 highest VP!

4. I always check the identity of the people I'm bidding with incase I'm not sure. I do this by viewing their affiliate snapshot which shows me their various badges. Please pay attention to their power rankings, especially the overall rank and their VersaPoint for the month. How do you get to view their affiliate snapshot? Click on their name on the bid log. It will try to open their Tconnect or ECA page on another tab. Don't allow it to load so you can copy their affiliate ID number. Then go to https://www.sfimg.com/AffiliateSnapshot?sfiid=XXXXXXXX to view their snapshot, replacing XXXXXXX with their affiliate ID. Bear in mind that you need to be logged into SFI to view that.

5. You'll want to make sure you have enough Tcredits (100 - 200 Tcredits) when you start (you can set up the 125 Tcredit Pack as a Standing Order for $36.25 for a start: https://www.tripleclicks.com/detail.php?item=212474.

6. Be the first to start the auction and start on autobid. Most people usually allow those on autobid to remain and will prefer to keep resetting the time until the person on autobid exhausts his Tcredits. Being on autobid really gives you a great chance to win. Remember that you can NEVER win unless you are the higest bidder when the timer runs out. But use the autobid bid with caution because there will always be people who will come and challenge you and quickly run down your Tcredits by setting their own on autobid. As a caution, always be actively watching when you're on autobid to disengage when you have a challenger. Also, set a maximum bid of 20 - 50. You can always update it as it reduces. Bear in mind that due to latency and internet connectivity issues, you may not always see when another enters a bidding war with you, only to discover all your Tcredits are gone.

7. You may want to start with the less expensive and less attractive auctions like the Lifetime Custom Domain if you are not too confident. Winning always builds our confidence and gives us the push to do more!

8. Make sure you have a fast and steady internet connection to avoid slow timer counts and disconnections while bidding. A second of delay may just be the difference between you winning or losing an auction!

9. I've also noticed that for Nigerians, it's best to bid between 6am and 11am. The Americans are the most active bidders and this is the period of least activity for the them. You could do your own little study of the periods with the lowest winning prices from the list of winners found here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/PBlatestWinners.php.

10. Also, while you bid, observe the bid log and take note of the number of active people involved in the bid. The lower they are, the greater your chances of winning. Some of them may be at the background and only appear to reset the bid time when it is about to end. So that note of them too.

11. Take note of the bid timer too. If the timer runs down and goes into the "Going once" and "Going twice" often while you are the Highest bidder, then your chances are going. BUT this may not always be the case as an experienced bidder could notice that and decide to take advantage of that by joining the bid.

12. Winning auctions require you to be bold, fearless and be willing to take some calculated risks. Some people are so afraid of losing that they never try. Don't allow that to hold you back. Remember you also have the incentives of VP and MRP. I've been able to accumulate enough to buy a Camera and a Samsung Galaxy tab with it (see more details here: http://www.tripleclicks.com/member_rewards.php).

13. One more thing: Each Pricebenders Auction also includes a Pick-The-Price (PTP) contest, in which you can win 100 FREE TCredits that can be used for bidding on future Pricebenders auctions.  It takes only 1 TCredit to enter, and you'll also pick up 5 MRP with your entry. At the start of each new auction, click the Pick-The-Price Contest button and submit the amount you think will be the winning price of the item. You can enter each time a new auction starts, so you'll have multiple chances to win each day. If no one predicts the exact final price, the person who is closest without going over wins 25 FREE TCredits. In the event of a tie, the person who posted the winning prediction first will receive either the 100 or 25 FREE TCredits prize, whichever is applicable.

10. Finally, please bear in mind that in bidding, you win some and you lose some. That's why we have the incentive of 1 VP and 5 MRP for each bid we place. The aim is just to win more than we lose.

I hope you find this helpful. I will keep updating this as I come up with other useful ideas. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please drop a comment below and I'll respond.

Go make me proud! Happy winnings!
